Front Batteries69 viewsFour 8V lead acid Trojan T-875 batteries of the traction pack are located in front to help balance the weight and take advantage of the space under the hood. The air conditioner compressor and its 120VDC motor are located here, with the condenser and cooling fan conveniently located in the front. The A/C receiver/dryer is installed below the batteries in front. There was just enough room to install the 12V accessory battery on the other side from the condenser.

The chassis was in such bad shape, I replaced it with one in better shape. At least the windshield was in good shape.
